After 13 years in the vehicle bodyworks industry Blessing Madzinga founded Old School Bodyworks in 2017. In the beginning; restoration of classic cars was his specialization, but letter on as the company grows he purchased equipment and resources that allows the company to fix any type of a vehicle or machine. Now the company is extending to open another branch in Zimbabwe. instead of offering only bodywork services, Old School Bodyworks is now also offering auto electrical and mechanical services. Rooted in the spirit of Ubuntu, Old School Bodyworks continues to flourish by delivering master-level craft and treating every client like family. Our goal is to become the Indaba of the industry—the ultimate gathering point of excellence that every workshop and dealership looks to for guidance.

How We Work

Behind our results is a passionate, multidisciplinary diverse team of highly skilled experts. 

For us to produce excellent results we use precision and a multi-stage approach. Foundational techniques include computerized structural alignment, metal shaping, and cutting/welding procedures. Each process ensures the vehicle’s structural integrity, safety, and cosmetic appearance are returned to strict original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.

  • Vehicle Drop-off & Assessment: This is the first stage after booking. Our technicians interviews the customer to establish a baseline of the issues, they also do all necessary protocols including computerized diagnostics and physical & Visual Inspection to make sure that they know and document everything that needs to be done on the vehicle.
  • Repair Restoration: This is the main stage where we team up to ensure we exceed client expectations.
  • Precision Painting & Finishing: At this stage we do all the finishings including color-matching process, spray booth standards, and clear-coat applications.
  • Final Quality Assurance: At this stage the vehicle goes through rigorous multi-point inspection before detailing the vehicle and handing it back to the client.
